David spent over 30 years with Parks Canada, principally in Atlantic Canada. He was the Regional Manager of Policy and Planning for much of that time. He was Superintendent of the Halifax Citadel National Historic Site and Superintendent of Prince Edward Island National Park and Historic Sites. David spent 5 years in Newfoundland and Labrador working on marine conservation initiatives and other initiatives such as the 1999 Canada Winter Games.
